    The Gartners have decided to sell their rural Newark home and concentrate on a smaller home in town. They will sell the equipment, several vehicles and a lifetime accumulation of antiques, primitives and family heirlooms.

    This is a pet-free, non-smoking home.

    Sondra Brockway Gartner (historian & author) will sell her father's (Chance Brockway) collection of historic photographs,  postcards and Buckeye Lake Amusement Park memorabilia. As well as his body of research materials, local histories, corespondance and antique documents.

    Mr Brockway was both a historian and a published author. His books 'Newark' and 'Buckeye Lake' are in the ’Images of America' series by Arcadia Publishing. 

    As a professional photographer he is noted for his work with the Ohio State University Buckeyes where  he captured images of every football celebrity from Woody Hayes to Eddie George. If you can imagine some of the most iconic Buckeye football photos, chances are Chance Brockway captured them. (There are no OSU photos in this auction.)

    Chance Brockway was a co-founder of the Greater Buckeye Lake Historical Society Museum and was a  member of the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club,  Buckeye Lake Civic Club, Buckeye Lake Eagles, V.F.W., American Legion (Hebron), Baltimore Masonic Lodge and the Ohio Camera Club. 

    AUCTION STARTS ENDING: SATURDAY, May 4th @ 7pm (Eastern Time). Selling two (2) items in the first second of every 1 minute.

    AUCTION PICK-UP: SUNDAY May 5th 10am-2pm in Southeastern Newark Ohio. East of Linville Rd. Please bring your own loading assistance. We can no longer offer lifting and loading.
